I’ll go on tripadvisor and review Ajua, but I wanted to send a quick note of thanks to you also.  We had such a wonderful time at Ajua for our Groom’s Dinner/Welcoming Dinner.  The food was excellent, the service couldn’t have been more superb with drinks on the head, the band was amazing, and it was just so much fun.  Thank you for contributing to the most fun, special time…. I went with Stephanie Morton at Ajua Weddings and I highly recommend her! She planned our ceremony on a semi-secluded beach, and I cannot be more thrilled with her professionalism and attention to detail.
I am a bit of a perfectionist, such that if something doesn’t go right, I over-react by taking control. With Stephanie, I didn’t feel the need to do that because she’s even more of a perfectionist than I am. She’s so on top of things that I felt relaxed throughout the entire planning process. When we met, I just felt such a great calm because I knew things were taken care of.

Stephanie,  Ajua Maya! as a reception site on February 12, 2010 was El Mejor.  The food, the service, the atmosphere, all fantastic, first class and fun.   We felt lucky to have the Tierra Vera Band playing that night.  They were/are very good.  Playing a selection of songs both upbeat and romantic.  One of the guests, Jessa’s dad, a man who, in the six years Jason has known him, has never seen him listen to music of any kind, wanted to stay longer to listen to the band.  Wow!  The entire wedding party couldn’t stop talking about the food the wait staff and the flambé for the rest of the trip.  We liked the experience so much that the two of us went back there to eat our last night in Mexico.  Being an adventurous eater, Jason wanted to try one of the Mayan dishes, and was very pleased.  It was unique and delicious.  Jessa had one of her favorites, the coconut shrimp, also very good.  We treated ourselves to the Café Maya.  It was well worth it.  Not only do you get a delicious coffee drink, you get a fantastic show.  We highly recommend it to others.   The Tierra Vera Band was there again.  This time we were able to get a CD.  The main Guitar player Mario, was kind enough to sign the disc for us.  We could have stayed all night drinking and dancing.  We will tell anybody who visits Playa Del Carmen, or the Cancun area, they truly must go to Ajua Maya! they will not be disappointed.  

Thank you for all your help in planning our reception and making sure it was a success.  It was a fantastic meal and a most memorable evening.  You really helped make our special night better than we had expected.

We cannot thank you enough for making our wedding such a memorable event. Everyone had a fabulous time even though Ida tried to crash the party! I know Billy already said we were grateful for how amazing our wedding and reception were….  It really was the time of our lives!  Thank you so much for helping us make it a beautiful,  romantic, fun event!   It could have been so much more stressful to plan a wedding miles away from the destination and my family.  Looking at the pictures I’m reminded that the flowers were exactly like I had pictured even though I felt like I wasn’t describing things very well.   The ceremony decor and music were fabulous as well as at Ajua.  And I’m sooooo glad we did both the cocktail hour on the beach and the mariachi band parade — so fun!!!  Many guests told us how much they enjoyed the food — and those margaritas!  We will for sure remember it forever!  Thanks a ton for all of your hard work!  Please pass our thanks on to the rest of your team!
