Their 10 year old girls enjoyed the Mayan wedding ritual and the beach as well.
On the beach in Playa del Carmen and then onto an Ajua Maya reception. Sandra was so excited she fainted during the wedding but fortunately with a bit of cola she revived and enjoyed the ceremony.
Some of her family flew all the way to Playa from India and his from England.
A simple and gorgeous Mexican Civil ceremony on the beach in Playa del Carmen for a beautiful couple.
A beautiful and dramatic location for a Mayan wedding.
See the Alux (word for ghost in Maya) who is following the Shaman during the cleansing for this wedding, then moves on to illuminate the Shaman. Very powerful.
Their wedding coordinator, A Great Event, came all the way from California to see them through the many activities and events that had planned for their guests.
Ajua Weddings was contracted for on-site services such as booking bands for three events, stage and dancing floor construction, decorating the amazing reception location — El Castillo, an abandoned concrete hacienda style house overlooking the Caribbean Sea — and so much more.
We enjoyed every minute of assisting their wedding coordination.

What a fun group. They all stayed at Maroma and had the wedding of the year with lots of activities. One of their events was a Mexican Fiesta at Ajua Maya Restaurant where all had lots of fun with their Wild Fresh Mayans and fantastic food.
A fantastically delicious cocktail party and rehearsal dinner at Ajua Maya restaurant in Playa del Carmen. Menu inludded Griller Lobster, Angus Steaks and Sizzling Shrimp in Garlic and Guajillo Chile.
We just saw Deirdre and Greg for their one year anniversary and all is great with them.
