We were happy to help Amy with some of the planning aspects and vendors of her wedding day. She was already booked with a different coordinator, but felt that Ajua Weddings could offer her the special touch she was looking for.
Read her journal entry at the link below from weddingchannel.com’s community section and review her Ajua Wedding blog entry from July 14th, 2007 to see how we were able to help.
Enjoy!

Ajua Weddings is happy to help in providing wedding services! Amy and Gustavo added details that will always be remembered to their wedding day with a champange toast on the beach, personalized maracas for thier guests, a mariachi parade through town, and a fun filled Mexican wedding reception!
WOW Maartje!!! I’m truly speechless. Last night I visited the website out of curiosity and was SOOO pleasantly surprised to see a few of our pictures posted. They are truly beautiful! Thank you…I can’t wait to see them all.
We really enjoyed your company and I’m so glad that you accompanied us on such a special day. Thank you for being patient with all of our “personalities” and being so gracious all of the time. I’m so glad we met and I have to say that EVERYONE that was involved was absolutely awesome!!! Please tell them also that they made our wedding day very special just by being a part of it…Miguel, Paola, Marvin, Tammara, Grant and of course YOU !
Take care,
Adriana

We had a wonderful time on Saturday! Everything was just beautiful! Thank you for all your help! My friends and family thought everything was just fabulous! The photography was fun and great to work with! I cannot wait to see the pictures and video! Everything was more then what we expected!
I had a pleasure working with you on my perfect day! Your calm and down to earth demeanor is a good attribute to your company.
I will recommend you to anybody that is getting married in the Rivera Maya!
Thank you and Take care,
Lori and Tom
Adriana has her roots in Colombia, and Luis comes originally from the north of Mexico. Although they both grew up in Texas, they are of course still 100% Latin! What an amazing and loving couple!
After being legally married for 6 years, Adriana and Luis decided it was time to have their catholic ceremony! With their closest family present they enjoyed a beautiful ceremony, followed by a wonderful dinner right at the beach!
Maartje,
It’s great hearing from you. Things are slowly getting back to “normal” at home. Our friends will not stop talking about the great time they had and how wonderful the wedding was.
I cannot ever thank you enough for all the work and support you did and gave. Everything was way better than I expect it to be. Bruce, who didn’t know what to expect, has been in complete awe of the whole thing. He talks about the whole event every time he gets a chance.
On our last night at PdC Bruce and I went back to Ajua Maya for dinner. What a great place that is.
I’m in the process of creating a wedding planning journal/scrapbook, and as I was writing down steps (1. make save the date postcards, 2. make invitations, rsvps, 3.buy envelopes, 4. mail invitations, etc) it dawned on me that one of those steps shoud be Hire Ajua Weddings, Maartje in particular to plan you wedding :-). So once it’s complete I will send it to you.
Thanks again, and if you are even in the Washington metropolitan area do call us.
